Filippa Jaeger's Junior Ride Mytrichta van de Westen Sold to Sweden

Filippa Jaeger Jensen's junior ride, Mytrichtra van de Westen, has been sold to a Swedish pony rider as her junior hopeful.

Mytrichta van de Westen is an 8-year old KWPN mare by Desperado out of Itrachta van de Westen (by Apache x ). She is bred by Cees Kikkert.

From Holland to Denmark

She is out of one of KWPN's top broodmares, who also produced the 2021 KWPN foal champion Rosatrichta (by Le Formidable), licensed stallion Dorado, and FEI horses Fernando (Shanna Baars), Galandro (Katie Robicheaux)

The bright bay mare did her mare performance test in The Netherlands in 2020 and scored 80 for her gaits.

The mare stayed in Denmark but it took until 2025 for her to make her show debut, under Filippa Jaeger Jensen, who partnered with the sales yard as a young professional to ride some of their horses and ponies.

Filippa is a Danish pony team rider but in 2025, her last year on ponies, she began preparing for her transition to horses. She debuted Mytrichta on 17 January 2025 at a local show in Hjallerup and by spring competed her in several national classes at MB-level.

They rode one international show, the CDIO Hagen, in June, where they posted scores of 68.737% in the junior team test, 65.539% in the individual test and 73.542% in the kur

Sold to Sweden

Mytrichta has now been sold to Sweden where she will become the junior hopeful for pony rider Elissa Ek.

"She has really got a special place in my heart and I hope all the best for her in the future," Filippa stated.

This year Ek has been competing the FEI ponies Jonker's Jayden and Dreimalhoch S at national pony level. With the latter she finished 15th at the 2025 Swedish Pony Championships.
