
Goldmond, the silver medal winner at the 2016 Bundeschampionate, has passed away.
Goldmond was a 2010 born Trakehner by Imperio out of Goldrose II (by Latimer x). He is bred by Ingo Wittlich.
Birgit Hild
Owned by the breeder, Goldmond was trained to competed to small tour level by Birgit Hild.
The pair made its show debut in 2014 in the riding horse classes and at A and L-level. In 2015 they competed at their first of two consecutive Bundeschampionate in Warendorf, finishing fourth in 2015 when the gelding was five and claiming silver when he was 6 in 2016.
They represented Germany at the World Young Horse Championships, placing fifth in the 6-year old consolation finals in 2016 and 8th in the 7-year old Finals in 2017.
The pair never competed internationally after that. In 2018 and 2019 they showed in a few Nurnberger Burgpokal qualifiers. Their last show as a pair was in July 2020

Goldmond helped give both Hild and Winter their Golden Rider Badge with 10 victories at S-level.
Untimely Passing
Goldmond TSF sadly had to be euthanized at the start of the summer after he developed a severe lameness of which the origin was never discovered.
