True Fino, Spectacular Price Highlight at 2025 DSP Foal Auction in Darmstadt

At the foal auction at Hofgut Kranichstein in Darmstadt on 26 July 2025, True Fino became the spectacular price highlight.

A collection of no less than 72 foals was on offer. Twenty foals sold for 10,000 euro or more.

The colt True Fino (by True Hope PS x Quadrofino), bred by Eva Böhm, sold for 105,000 euro to the U.S.A.

The second most expensive foal was Vesuv (by Vjento x Dantano), bred by Rupert Wiedemann. He sold for 37,000 euro.  Filly Play with me  (by Parero x L'Espoir), bred by Gestut Greim, fetched 32,000 euro.

Djamilla (by Dante Weltino x Vivino) sold for 23,000 €. Viva Ampere (by Viva Gold x  Ampere) sold for 22,500 euro. 

Einstein (by Extreme U.S. x For Romance) and Vonderball (by V-Power x Dancing World) sold for 17,000 €, Van Schufro (by Va Bene x Don Schufro) for 16,500 euro,  Best Color (by Bon Esprit x Confess Color) for 16,000 euro, Rocking Secret (by Rock For Me x Secret ) for 15,500 euro, Vielversprechend (by Va Bene x Donnerball) and Veniro IV (by Va Bene x De Niro) for 15,000 euro. 

Enno E  (by Escaneno x San Amour) got 13,000 euro, and Escavito (by Escamillo x San Amour) had a hammer price of 11,000 €.

Silvestre (by St. Emilion x Fürst Romancier HF) found a new owner in Portugal for 10,500 euro. Also moving there are Venezia (by Va Bene x Fürst Heinrich) for 9,500 € and Vienna (by Va Bene x Fürstenball) for 5,500 euro. 

The average price for a foal in this auction was 11,313 euro.
