
Carina Scholz' Grand Prix horse Quinto has been sold into Indian ownership. He will continue his sport career with the French based Indian rider Sudipti Hajela.
Quinto is a 14-year old Swiss warmblood gekding by Quaterback out of Diana (by De Niro x Jupiter II). He is bred by Robert Schmidt
Belgium
Quinto was discovered as a young horse by Belgian Elisabeth Tepper in the stable of German Andrea Müller-Kersten (now Winkeler) in Vechta. Tepper initially kept the horse with Andrea, who debuted him in Ankum in February 2015, but rode the 4-year old herself in May 2015 at the national show in Jeneffe, Belgium.
In 2016 Müller-Kersten competed the horse in Germany, while her assistant Maren Tampke-Jost, also showed hum one. Andrea travelled to Belgium to ride Quinto to a 6th place in the 5-year old division at the Belgian Young Horse Championships in Gesves.
In 2017 Belgian Nick van Laer took over the ride and competed him on the Belgian young horse circuit as well as represented Belgium at the 2017 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, where they were 12th in the consolation finals with 79.800 points. At the 2017 Belgian Young Horse Championships they were 9th.
Germany
Carina and Fabian Scholz acquired him. Scholz made her show debut on Quinto in the Intermediaire A in April 2022 and rode him at medium tour level that year Their first Grand Prix test was in May 2023 and their first CDI at big tour level in Lier in February 2024. Scholz and Quinto went on to show hum in Sint-Truiden, Wiesbaden, and Mariakalnok. They did one national show in January 2025 in Herbergen-Essen.
India
Quinto has now been sold to French based Indian Sudipti Hajela, who trains at Pamfou Dressage.
Aachen Festival 4 Dressage
Hajela returned ho and compete in the autumn 2021 CDI's in India in Bangalore and Delhi with Christy (unpapered horse). She returned to Europe and got a new schoolmaster, Chinski (by Tuschinki x Jazz), whom she premiered in Le Mans in February 2022 at small tour level. Chinski took her to the 2023 Asian Games, where India won a historic team gold medal. In 2025 Sudipti moved on with Deauville de Hus (by Don Juan de Hus x ) and has been competing him at CDI's in Le Mans, Motesice, Golega, Camarma de Esteruales, Jardy and Deauville.
With Quinto she has a second iron in the fire for the 2026 Asian Games to be held in Nagoya, Japan.
