
The 5-year old Valentin, the 6-year old Embolo, and the 7-year old No Limit became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the national show in Karslfeld on 3 - 4 May 2025.
In the 5-year old division 11 pairs battled it out and it was Johanna Wadenspanner topping the board on her own Valentin, a DSP registered Vitalis x Don Schufro, bred by Jutta Steidl. They scored 8.60 points in total with 8.2 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8.7 for canter, and 8.8 for submission and general impression. Dennis Meschke and Julia Puruckr's DSP bred Dorian-P (by Decurio x Daily Deal) were the runners-up with 8.34 points. The gelding got 8 for walk, 8.2 for trot, and 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old class at M-level, Benjamin Werndl and the Westfalian auction price highlight Embolo (by Escamillo x Detroit) topped the board with a whopping 8.84 points. Owned by Matthias Sohler in partnership with Aubenhausen, the dark bay got 7.8 for walk, 9.2 for trot and canter, and 9 for submission and general impression. Johanna Wadenspanner was second with the Rhinelander stallion Erste Sahne (by Escamillo x Sir Donnerhall) on a score of 8.42 points. The stallion got 8.2 for walk, 9 for trot and canter, 7.7 for submission and 8.2 for general impression.
In the 7-year old division Alexandra Sessler aced the S-level class aboard Thomas Ritzinger's KWPN bred No Limit (by Geniaal x Florestan) with 75.970%. They had Yara Reichert on their heels aboard the bay stallion About You II (by AC-DC x Estobar) with 75.900%
