Haras de Malleret in Le Pian Medoc near Bordeaux, France, is proud to present its first stallion show on 3 February 2023. Ten outstanding dressage bred stallions will be presented under saddle by the Malleret team riders as well as by German Olympian Helen Langehanenberg and a new mystery rider whose identity will soon be revealed.

Stallions of the highest quality, both for sporting and genetically, will be presented to an informed public of professionals and amateurs. It will be the most important private stallion show in France of the year.

"Our goal is to make this event an unmissable annual event," said Gérald Martinez, general manager of Haras de Malleret.

Stallion Show on 3 February 2023

The stallion show will be a not-to-be-missed event at which some of France's best dressage bred stallions can be seen in their boxes and under saddle. Helen Langehanenberg will be on site to present some of these stallions under saddle and talk about their development into competitive sport horses. She will be joined by a new mystery rider who has joined the team, alongside resident riders Emma Jamieson and Alfonso de la Chica Parras.

Danciano passes on beauty, gaits and good temperament
Haras de Malleret stands the flagship stallion Danciano de Malleret (by Dancier x Rotspon x Wolkenstein II), a Grand Prix stallion who firmly established himself as a producer of top dressage horses, including Danny Cool (Helen Langehanenberg), Dolciario (Frederic Wandres), Dirham (Borja Carrascosa), Dancielle de Malleret (Pauline Guillem) and Daily Show (Emily Miles), amongst many others.

"I am lucky to have Danciano, who to me and other breeders, is one of the best dressage stallions with his genetics but also proven by the perspective that we are beginning to have of his offspring," said Martinez. "I am extremely proud of my stallion and I could never thank enough my relatives who contributed to his acquisition, and  to Paul Schockemöhle who was kind enough to sell him to me. Paul generally never sells his leading stallions, he had no interest in doing so except to please me personally. He knew this horse was a dream for me and he helped me make that dream come true!"

Flagship Stallions and Eight Young Stars

one of the new additions to the stallion roster
This year Haras de Malleret expanded its stallion collection with seven new additions sourced at the licensing in Germany, including Faszination de Malleret (by Furst Belissaro x San Remo) who was in training with Stefanie Wolf and for his first breeding season stood at stud at Krüsterhof in Germany due to popular demand on the German market.

The ten stallions that will be presented alongside Danciano and Faszination are Flinstone (by Fidertanz x Abanos), Fänomen de Malleret (by Foundation x Sezuan), Stolzenberg de Malleret (by Sandro Hit x Lord Sinclair), Golden Romance Malleret PS (by Governor x Sir Donnerhall), Esperanzo Malleret PS (by Escolar x Zack) First Moon de Malleret (by Fürstenball x Diamond Hit), Royal de Malleret (by Rubin Royal x Fürst Wilhelm), and Fantom de Malleret (by Fair Game x Wochstern).

Fantom de Malleret
"Flinstone has always been our secret weapon. He has a small crop but his offspring is quite incredible, several of them are French champions at a young age," Martinez explained. "The other eight stallions are brand new and have their first breeding year behind them. I have always very seriously taken the same criteria into account: the conformation as a whole, the quality of the hindlegs, the easy, calm, pleasant character which are for me the foundation of a sport horse but even more so for a stallion who transmits his genes."

Explore Malleret

The premises will be open to visitors who can discover the facility with its exclusive Balneotherapy spa and equine rehabilitation center. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Helen Langehanenberg, the Malleret staff, and talk with them about the stallions.

"We offer a big variety in bloodlines which leaves nothing to be desired," said Martinez. "Malleret is now the only French facility to offer such diversity in privately owned stallions and I am quite proud of it. We have already received many requests for each stallion, so they will all be standing at stud for the 2023 breeding season. Danciano will also be collected again for the United States and Australia because we had a strong demand and there was no more stock outside of Europe."

French lifestyle and beautiful stallions at the Malleret show
Clipmyhorse.tv will broadcast the event live on their streaming platform.

Haras de Malleret hopes to welcome a large international audience to the their stallion show with food and drinks on site, but registration is required as there is space for 300 people to comfortably watch all the horses and network at the venue.

"For those who won't be able to come to the stallion show or because unfortunately there won't be enough space for everyone in the cozy enclosure of the arena, we have a live broadcast on clipmyhorse planned," Martinez explained.
