At the start of the 2022 Verden Foal Spring online auction series, Be My Beauty King set the best price of 20,000 euro. The expressive bay colt and his 31 companions of the 2022 vintage cost an average of 8,227 euro.
The Bonds x San Amour son Be by Beauty King (breeder and exhibitor: Stefan Hermann, Northeim) was already the favourite for the top price. His full sister, Be My Beauty Queen, born in 2017, is the most expensive foal sold at a Verden auction so far with a sales price of 160,000 euro. A breeder from Schleswig-Holstein secured the high-quality bay for 20,000 euro.
The best paid foal with jumping genes was Haiti (by Hardrock Z/Comme il faut), bred and owned by Hof Brüning, who was worth 12,500 euro to a buyer from Hungary. Last year, his brother Emilio (by Epleaser van't Heike) was also part of the lot at the opening event of the Verden Foal Spring.
The first online auction of foals ended with an average price of 8,227 euro. The second most expensive foal at this auction was Etonic (by Escolar x Furstenball), who will stay in Germany for 16,500 euro.
Zauberkonig (by Zauberlehrling x Franz Ferdinand) fetched 12,000 euro. The same price was paid for Sommertraum (by Segantini x Furstenball). Icon (by Iron x Benicio) sold for 10,000 euro.
Hanover's youngest will not only grow up all over Germany, but also abroad. In addition to buyers from Europe, customers from Argentina and the USA came to the auction. Special Amour EH (by San Amour x De Niro) moves to Spain for 11,500 euro, while Continus (by Conthargos x Diarodo) goes to the U.S.A. for 11,000 euro.
