Dancier Gold and Fine Flashlight Win 2020 Hamm Bundeschampionate Qualifier

The 5-year old Dancier Gold and the 6-year old Fine Flashlight were the winners in the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the Late Entry dressage show in Hamm on Wednesday 14 July 2020. 

Sixteen pairs competed in the L-level dressage horse test for 5-year olds, judged by Hermann Bender, Christian Wendel and Hermann Erver. Australian Simone Pearce won the class aboard Gestut Sprehe's Hanoverian stallion Dancier Gold (by Dancier x Weltmeyer) on a strong score of 8.9. Ninya Wingender and Johannes Brinkmann's Westfalian stallion El Corozan (by Escolar x Furstenball) followed in the fair distance in second place with 8.0.. Ann-Christin Wienkamp and Sandoz (by Sezuan x Desperados) slotted in third on 7.7. 

Fourteen pairs rode the M-level dressage horse test and Petra Middelberg topped the board with her own Oldenburg stallion Fine Flashlight (by Follow Me x Rohdiamant). They earned a winning 7.7. The score minimum for a ticket to the Bundeschampionate in Warendorf is 8.0 though. Stefanie Serowy and Gretel Schulze-Buxloh's Oldenburg gelding Guns 'n Roses (by Grey Flanell  x Dormello) were second with 7.6, while Finnish Ville Palomaki and the Danish bred Shaka (by Bogegardens Santiago x Lionell) were on their heels and landed third place with 7.5.
