Less than six months on the job, Philipp Klingbeil has handed in his resignation as the breeding director for the Westfalian society. He will leave Munster-Handorf on 31 May 2020.

The 32-year old Klingbeil  was appointed breeding director in November 2019 and began his job on 1 January 2020. He replaced Wilken Treu, who stepped down as general director and breeding director of the Westfalian society to become the general director at the Hanoverian society.

Thomas Münch took over the function of ad-interim Westfalian breeding director in the transition period between Treu and Klingbeil. Munch is now back on that temporary job again with Klingbeil's departure.   Münch is officially the marketing director for the society.

According to Westfalian society, Klingbeil leaves "on personal grounds"
