Blue Hors Don Olymbrio has been returned to Denmark, where he is on a break. This brings an end to the licensed stallion's campaign in Florida.

The 12-year old Dutch warmblood stallion Don Olymbrio (by Jazz x Ferro) was recently allocated to Agnete Kirk Thinggaard. The liver chestnut already had an extremely busy show season down his belt in 2019 under Daniel Bachmann Andersen.

In December 2019 Kirk Thinggaard took a set of five horses to Wellington, Florida, where she is able to train intensively with coach Lars Petersen as well as compete on the Wellington dressage show circuit instead of having to ship her horses all across Europe for experience and mileage.

KIrk Thinggaard's three top rides at the moment are Blue Hors Zatchmo, Blue Hors Don Olymbrio, and the rising Grand Prix horse Blue Hors Veneziano. She also has in Florida Atterupgaards Orthilia, who has recovered from injury and is back in full training, as well as youngster Vegas Volt.

Thinggaard was asked by the Danish federation to return to Europe for the CDI Herning at the beginning of March, where Danish team selectors would hold an observation trial for Tokyo Olympic team selection, but Thinggaard made the wise decision to stay in Florida and train in all peace and quiet, while letting her show results there speak for themselves.

"Of course it's annoying that while in Wellington a selection trial is being held in Herning, but I'm looking forward to the outdoor season with new challenges," said Agnete about skipping Herning and choosing for in-depth training and competition in Florida.

Agnete and Don Olymbrio competed in just one class in Wellington, a 3* Grand Prix on Thursday 23 January 2020, before being sent back home for some extra rest. They placed fourth with 71.783%.

With Blue Hors Zatchmo she has established a Grand Prix high score of 72.391% and a GP Special score of 74.851% these past two months.
