Eight colts, of which four are dressage bred, were accepted at the 2018 Hanoverian Stallion Approval held in Verden, Germany, on 23 January 2018.
Fifteen colts were entered for this approval, twelve showed up, eight received a green light of which four are dressage bred.
The approved dressage colts are the Trakehner bred Hopkins (by Hofrat x Artistic Rock), Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff's Thiago (by Totilas x Warkant) as well as the American bred Oldenburg Zonik One (by Zonik x Depardieu) and Da Vinci Code (by Dancier x Sandro Hit), both co-owned by Paul Schockemohle and Wilhelm Holkenbrink.
