The 5-year old Rock Star and the 6-year old Quentin GH were the winning horses at the Bundeschampionate qualifier held at the Julibellenhof in Prietzen, Germany, on 3 - 5 June 2016. Atypically the 5-year old division with its five competitors was much smaller than the 6-year old dressage horse class which included 10 horses.
It was a very busy weekend for Lena Waldmann who entered no less than 10 horses for this regional dressage show and she won both BuCha qualification tests with her youngsters. In the 5-year old division she reigned supreme on Ulrike Wagner's Westfalian stallion Rock Star (by Rocky Lee x Furst Heinrich). They posted a top score of 8.1 and left the second placed pair, Libuse Mencke on the Trakehner stallion Glucksruf II (by Dramatiker x Opernball), behind them. The Trakehner scored 7.7.
Waldmann and Gerhard Hladik's Hanoverian gelding Quentin GH (by Quaterback x Sandro Hit) ruled in the 6-year old division with a winning score of 8.1. She edged out Ronald Luders on Andreas Damm's German Sport Horse stallion Quantaz (by Quaterback x Hohenstein), who finished second with 7.7
