The 2009 Westfalian licensing champion Silbermond will continue his sport career as a schoolmaster for a German junior rider. The gelded Silbermond has been sold to the Munster based Frauke Roberg, whose daughter Lilly is an L-level junior rider.
Bred by Doris Hagemann, Silbermond is a Sir Donnerhall x Ramiro's Son x Matcho AA offspring.
He became the champion of the 2009 Westfalian Stallion Licensing and did his 30-day Stallion Performance Testing in Munster-Handorf in 2010, where he scored 8.96 for dressage and 8.25 for show jumping.
He began his competition career under Wibke Hartmann-Stommel and became reserve champion at the 2010 Bundeschampionate. Johanna Klippert took over the ride in 2011 to return it to Stommel in 2013.
He was initially owned by Martin
Dieckhoff but in 2013 Ingrid Klimke acquired a share in the ownership of the stallion, when she took him in training. The pair first competed at M-level in June 2013 and tried qualifying for the 2013 World Young Horse Championships but were not picked by the selectors.
In 2014 Sabine Finke took over the ride on Silbermond and in 2015 he was gelded to be focused on sport. Silbermond did his last show under Klimke at Prix St Georges level in January 2016.
Silbermond has sired one licensed son, the 2011 born Westfalian colt KK Segantini, who is born out of Finja (by Florestan x Parademarsch I x Perlkonig) and owned by Claudine Kroll.
