The 5-year old Grimani and the 6-year old Dolce Vita became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the big 2015 South German Regional Championships in Nordlingen, Germany, on 25 - 26 July 2015. Seventeen 5-year olds and nineteen 6-year olds contested the L and M-level dressage horse tests.
In the 5-year old division Hendrik Lochthowe aced the class aboard the Trakehner stallion Grimani (by Gribaldi x Monteverdi). They totalled 8.1. The black stallion got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 9 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression. Three combinations finished in second place with an 8.0 total. Friederike Schulz-Wallner and the Bavarian stallion Bob Dylan (by Boston x Rivero II) got 8s for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression. Constanze Rugheimer and the Westfalian gelding Santiago de Chile got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk, and 8 for canter, submission and general impression. Schulz-Wallner and Bossanova (by Boston x Sterntanzer) got 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for canter and 8 for submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old division German Grand Prix rider Victoria Michalke steered her own Oldenburg mare Dolce Vita (by Don Schufro) to victory with an 8.1. The liver chestnut mare got 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for trot, 8 for canter, 8.5 for submission and 8.0 for general impression. The pair edged out Franz Trischberger on Bjorn Mercker's Holsteiner gelding Dr. No (by De Chiciroc x Aljano) who finished second on 8.0. The chestnut gelding got 8.5 for trot, 7.5 for walk and 8 for canter, submission and general impression.
