Sungold Sold to Korea

The Oldenburg licensed stallion Sungold (by Sandro Hit x Grunstein II x Futuro) has been sold to a Korean dressage rider.

Bred by Willi Gering Sungold is out of the successful brood mare Eskoria, who also foaled Sungold's full brother Serano Gold as well as Grand Prix horses Exupery. The bay was licensed at the Oldenburg stallion Licensing in Vechta in 2005 and completed his stallion performance test with a 10 for rideability.

Sungold was ridden by Heiko Klausing, then briefly trained by Kathrin Meyer zu Strohen. In 2009 he moved to his new owner Gestut Tannenhof, where Anja Plonzke took over the ride.

Plonzke and Sungold competed in the small tour at the 2011 CDIO Hickstead, 2012 CDIO Rotterdam and 2012 CDI Munich.

Zuchterforum reported the sale of the 9-year old stallion.
