High Five, Price Highlight of 2012 Borculo Foal Auction

High Five became the price highlight of the 2012 KWPN Foal Auction in Borculo, The Netherlands, on Thursday 30 August 2012. Joop van Uytert and Paul Schockemohle acquired the colt by Charmeur x Negro for 40,000 euro.

The long legged bay gelding High Five with peculiar markings on his face is bred by Mr de Feyters.

The Borculo foal auction includes a mixed collection of dressage and show jumping colts.

High Five Texel (by Sorento x Jazz) was the second most expensive dressage colt, selling for 26,000 euro. The filly Helle Belle Norene (by Charmeur x Krack C) achieved a knock down price of 17,000 euro.

The chestnut colt Hilltop (by Chagall x Tuschinski) was the last of the collection and sold for 22,000 euro.

The best selling jumper colt was Herodios V (by Vittorio x Voltaire) sold to Great Britain for 25,000 euro. Hanoi (by London x Verdi) sold for 24,000 euro to Russia.
