On 27 April 2011 the few remaining tickets for the closing day of the FEI European Dressage Championships 2011 in Rotterdam were sold. On Sunday 21 August the Grand Prix Freestyle is the highlight and final competition for the 2011 championships.
Tickets for the other days of the 2011 championships can still be ordered at www.ecdressage2011.com, although tickets for the Saturday program are limited. Passe-partouts (for all days) are no longer available.
"It is going to be an enormous event here in Rotterdam," says Frans Lavooij, president of the organizing committee at the FEI European Dressage Championships. "I expect the tickets for the other days, especially the Saturday Grand Prix, will sell out soon. And that almost four months before the event actually starts! We received ticket orders from all over Europe, it seems everyone wants to be there when the new European Champion is crowned."
"Excellent that all tickets for the Sunday program are sold. That means people support the event, not only here in the Netherlands but also in the rest of Europe," said Heleen Crielaard, head of sponsoring at Rabobank.
