At its meeting at the 2010 FEI General Assembly held in Taipei today 1 November, the FEI Bureau approved Herning as the venue for th 2013 European Dressage and Jumping Championships.
The 2013 European Dressage Championships will run from 19 to 25 August 2010 and are held on the premises of the Herning Expo Center, where the Danish warmblood stallion licensing is annually hosted in March.
JBK Horse Shows, Sport Event Denmark, the city of Herning and the Danish Equestrian Federation are working on staging this combined dressage and show jumping championships in Denmark.
Herning was up against Wiesbaden as venue for the 2013 European Championships.
