Many professional dressage riders presented their young mounts at the 2010 Bundeschampionate qualifier in Bargstedt on 17 - 20 June 2010. The event was organized by the Harsefeld riding club and the winners were Harmony's Desiderio and Elfado.
British born Susan Pape-Draper won the 5-year old dressage horse division on the American owned Harmony's Desiderio, an Oldenburg bred stallion by Dimaggio x Donnerhall. The combination scored 9.5 for trot and 9 for suppleness and general impression, but the 7.5 earning walk pulled the score down to an overall of 8.6. Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn and the Hanoverian stallion Sonnenkönig (by Sandro Hit x Weltmeyer) finished second with an 8.5 total. They got 9's for trot and walk. Birgit Finken and Baldessarini (by Belissimo M x Von Velten) ranked third with 8.10.
In the 6-year old dressage horse division Petra Wilm and her Trakehner licensed stallion Elfado reigned supreme. The Kostolany x Roncalli xx offspring scored 8.7 to leave second placed Holga Finken on Segenreich (by Sandro Hit x Grosso Z) far behind them with 8.4. Hartwig Burfeind and Pferd 24's Diamonit II (by Diamond Hit x Santander H) slotted in third with 8.0.
