The Wahler family proudly invites you to the 36th edition of the Klosterhof Medingen auction of talented dressage sport horses and foals, all sourced from its breeding programme and network of breeders.
The auction takes place on 27 September 2025 at 16h00. Bidding can be done live on the scene in Bad Bevensen, as well as online.
"Almost all of the horses have already been presented at competitions appropriate to their age and have impressively confirmed their exceptional quality in sporting competition," said organized Christoph Wahler. "Our foal collection includes two winning foals from the Klosterhof Foal Show, several outstanding stallion prospects from our proven sires, and exceptional fillies for sport and breeding."
Auction Highlights
The collection includes 19 carefully selected and trained sport horses, including catalog nr 1, Denali (by Damaschineo x Sir Donnerhall). The 5-year old Hanoverian gelding has been victorious in novice young horse tests and is a true number one with his excellent movements
Catalog nr 3, Nightlife OLD, is a 4-year old Oldenburg mare by Damaschino x Rheinklang) who became the reserve champion at the Oldenburg Young Horse Championships in Rastede and competed at the 2025 Bundeschampionate
The 3-year old Hanoverian mare Tainted Love (by Total McLaren x Furst Romancier) is a highly decorated mare at her young age, winning the mare show in Fehrenbötel in 2025 as well as being final ring mare at the Herwart v.d. Decken show. She is nominated for the 2025 Bundeschampionate.
In the foal collection the colt Sterling (by St. Emilion x Grey Flanell) is a real eye catcher. The winner of the 2025 Klosterhof Medingen foal show, this stallion prospect is out of a proven dam line that produced FEI horses Fraggle Rock, Dreamy; Frattini and Feivel on Tour.
Catalog nr 23 is the bay colt El Corazon (by Escaneno x De Niro), who is out of elite mare Egalite III. This mare life produced WCYH participant Secret Life Majishan, as well as FEI horses London Eye L, Sarotti, and licensed stallion Rocazino.
The bay Oldenburg colt Global Royal (by Global Hope x Dressage Royal) stands out with his fabulous movements and elegant expression. He has ground covering, bouncy basic gaits and is one to watch for sport.
Viewings and Try-Outs
There will live presentations of the riding horses in the auction on 20, 24 and 26 September 2025. A public training session of the riding horses is scheduled for 25 September. The foals will be presented on 26 and 27 September.
All horses can be seen in the daily training and try outs can be arranged on appointment.
