Laura Strobel, a silver medal winning rider at the 2018 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo, has decided to leave her employer Dorothee Schneider and set up her own independent business.

Strobel has been a young horse rider at Dorothee Schneider's yard in Framersheim, Germany, since 2014.

Strobel recently rode Sissy Max-Theurer's Rhinelander stallion Villeneuve to silver at the World Young Horse Championships. She has also shown Gingo's Sienna Gold at national Grand Prix level in Germany alongside a massive string of upcoming stars in the German young horse classes. With Wind of Change she qualified for the 2017 Piaff Forderpreis Finals for German Under 25 riders in Stuttgart.

Strobel will leave Schneider at the end of 2018 and begin her own business with boyfriend Lukas Kückelhaus. He is a dressage rider and breeder based in Nachrodt-Wiblinwerde, Germany.
