The 5-year old Chrysler and the 6-year old Herakles won the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the regional show at Arnold Winter's Wintermuhle equestrian centre in Neu-Anspach, Germany, on 30 July 2015. Neu-anspach has a very strong connection with Hungary as Hungarian Grand Prix rider Robert Acs is based there with a following.
The Hungarian Pavlina Revesz won the 5-year old dressage horse division aboard the Hanoverian stallion Chrysler (by Chico's Boy x Natiello xx). The duo scored a strong total of 8.5 with 9 for trot, 8.5 for walk and canter, 8 for submission and 8.5 for general impression. Acs on the Hanoverian gelding Quentin GH (by Quaterback x Sandro Hit), Anna Nolte on the Westfalian gelding Diamond's Shine (by Diamond Hit x Florestan) and Birgit Hild on the Trakehner gelding Goldmond (by Imperio x Latimer) all three tied in second place with 8.0. Quentin GH got 8 for trot, 7.5 for walk, 8.5 for anter and 8 for submission and general impression. Diamond's Shine earned 8 for trot and canter, 8.5 for walk, 7.5 for submission and 8 for general impression, while the dark bay Goldmond got straight 8s for walk, trot, canter, submission and general impression.
In the 6-year old division Laura Strobel steered Gestut Hohenschmark's Trakehner stallion Herakles (by Gribaldi x Michelangelo) to victory with an 8.2 total. The black stallion scored 8.5 for trot, 9 for walk, 7.5 for canter and submission and 8.5 for general impression. Herakles is now being competed by a third rider in three years time. He was started by Mareike Peckholz, in 2014 Dorothee Schneider rode him and this year Laura Strobel took over. Jessica Benninghoven and the Belgian owned Oldenburg Sambuca Tategoi (by Sir Donnerhall x Donnerhall) were the runners-up with 8.1. The liver chestnut mare got 8.5 for trot, 8 for walk and canter, 7.5 for submission and 8.5 for general impression.
