Anna Kasprzak Acquires Swedish Warmblood Quarton

Danish Olympic team rider Anna Kasprzak has acquired the 8-year old Swedish warmblood gelding Quarton at Andreas Helgstrand's sales yard in Denmark. The liver chestnut Quarton is bred by Per-Arne Persson and is by Quaterback x Don Schufro.

Under Swedish Yvonne Osterholm, Quarton represented the Swedish warmblood society at the 2014, 2015 and 2016 World Championships for young dressage horses. In 2014 he was 15th in the consolation finals as a 5-year old. In 2015 he finished 14th in the Finals as a 6-year old and in 2016 he was 13th in the Finals as a 7-year old.

Quarton also won the Swedish Young Horse Championships in 2015 and 2016. After the 2016 Swedish Nationals he was sent to Denmark to be sold.

In 2017 Helgstrand's assistant trainer Bettina Jaeger competed Quarton in the small tour at the CDI Herning and finished third in the Prix St Georges and won the Intermediaire I.

Quarton "Since I tried him the first time, I have had no doubt that he is a perfect fit for me," Kasprzak stated. "He arrived to my stables yesterday where I rode him a bit and took him out in the paddock. He is a very sweet and uncomplicated horse in the stables, and I look forward to our future together!"

To Eurodressage, Kasprzak said exclusively that "I was looking for an upcoming Grand Prix horse, and Q seems to have a huge talent for piaffe-passage and all the canter work. He was really easy to ride and gave me an amazing feeling. Bettina Jæger who has been riding him at Helgstrand Dressage has made a excellent job with him!"

Anna might already start competing Quatron in the small tour at the 2017 CDIO Uggerhalne in Denmark next week.
