Detlef Ruddat Honoured with Fritz von der Decken Prize

At the annual general assembly of the Hanoverian society, Detlef Ruddat received the Fritz von der Decken prize for being the most successful Hanoverian stallion rearer of the past ten years.

He was honoured with this award as he has been the owner of no less than 10 licensed stallions at the Hanoverian stallion licensing. Nine of them have been successfully sold at auction.

Amongst his discoveries are for instance the million-euro horse Revolution (by Rocky Lee x Rouletto - 2015), Danzador (by Diamond Hit x Lauries Crusadir xx - 2013), Spörcken (by Sir Donnerhall x Lauries Crusador xx - 2010), and Furst Wettin (by Furst Heinrich x Friedensfurst - 2008).

Ruddat is based in Kirchlinteln, Germany, and owns stud farm Gerkenhof, which he acquired in 1998.
