Germany's long-time number one FEI Dressage pony and 2014 European Pony Champion Deinhard B has undergone colic surgery and is currently recovering in an equine clinic.
The 16-year old German riding pony licensed stallion Deinhard B (by Dornik B x Golden Dancer) had to be transported to the equine clinic and underwent colic surgery on 24 October 2015.
"He made it through and is back on his feet. He has the will," said the Rothenberger family. "He's not out of the woods yet so we need all the luck we can get."
Deinhard B has been Germany's most successful FEI dressage pony in the past 10 years. He became European Pony Champion under Sönke Rothenberger in 2008. Under Semmieke Rothenberger he was reserve European champion in 2013 and European Champion in 2014.
