Danish FEI Pony team rider Kristine Koch Bejtrup has secured the ride on the experienced schoolmaster Cavaler for the next three years. Kristine's family has taken over the Danish warmblood from his previous rider Simone Ahlers Pedersen.

Kristine Koch Bejtrup and her routinier FEI pony Dornick Son (by Dornik B x Bourbon) were members of the Danish pony team that won bronze at the 2012 European Pony Championships. Koch also won bronze at the 2011 Danish Pony Championships and silver at the 2012 Nationals.

Kristine will be making the transition to junior riders' level in 2014 and has two horses to ride. In October 2012 she acquired the rising 8-year old Lord Walentin (by Sunny Boy x Aquilino) and has now added Simone Ahlers Pedersen's 15-year old Cavaler (by Cavan x Donnerhall) to her collection.

Ahlers Pedersen and Cavaler were a fixture on the Danish JR/YR scene. They finished second in the 2009 and 2010 Ecco Cup Finals and won team bronze at the 2009 European Junior/Young Riders Championships. They won team gold at the 2011 Nordic Baltic Championships and team silver at the 2011 European Young Riders Championships.
