Zygrane Le Coupied has been found. The stolen Dutch warmblood gelding of Roosendaal based Turkish rider Ceylan Avinal has been retrieved after an anonymous tip. Avinal could release little extra information because of the ongoing police investigation.
"Everything seems alright. He appears to be fit and nothing special seems to have happened to him," a relieved Avinal reported. "I'm incredibly grateful that thanks to the media so much happened in a short period of time. These were the hardest days in my life."
On Saturday 5 February 2011, Zygrande Le Coupied (by Krack C x Ferro x Donnerhall) was stolen from his box in Roosendaal, The Netherlands. The bay stallion is a 2009 Pavo Cup Finalist and 2010 World Young Horse Championship participant.
