The 6-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Zygrande le Coupied (by Krack C x Ferro x Donnerhall) has been stolen on Saturday evening 5 February 2011. Dutch based and Turkish born Ceylan Avinal experienced the shock of her life

when she discovered her talented 6-year old had disappeared from its stall at home in Roosendaal, The Netherlands.

Horses.nl reported that Avinal has suspicions who could have done this, but so far there is no evidence. "This robbery has been planned meticulously because even Zygrande's passport has been stolen from out horses," Avinal told Horses.nl. "We went to the police and are trying to post this news everywhere. Today we'll be going to the Dutch Equestrian Federation and KWPN to report this, concerning papers and registration."

Avinal rode the licensed stallion Zygrande Le Coupied at the 2009 Pavo Cup Finals and represented Turkey at the 2010 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. In December the pair became the reserve champions at the incipient 20110 Subli Young Horse Championship at Z-level.
