The 7-year old Trakehner licensed stallion Integer has been put to sleep. The dark bay stallion suffered from multiple colic episodes and it was decided in the horse's best interest to put him to sleep.

Integer was by Millennium out of Inschis Songline (by Songline x Connery x Onassis). He was bred by Dagobert Vester.

Premium Stallion

Integer was named premium stallion at the 2018 Trakehner stallion licensing in Neumunster.

He did his 14-day suitability test in April 2019 in Neustadt/Dosse and scored 8.08 for dressage and 7.0 for jumping. He totalled 7.73 points.

In the autumn of 2020 he completed the 50-day performance test and scored 8.08 for dressage

Sport Career

Owned by Nicole Derlin, Integer was trained by Beatrice Hoffrogge and stood up for stud at her station as well as at Gerard Geling's yard.

The pair made its show debut in Voerde in July 2021 in the A-level dressage horse test. In 2022 he competed at M-level at a few local shows including a Bundeschampionate qualifier, but did not make it to any championships

Colic Episodes

Owner Nicole Derlin announced the sad passing of her stallion on Facebook.

"For quite some time he's been having colic problems," she said. "In January he was operated on twice. Unfortunately he did not recover from these hardships and had to be put down. We're all still in shock and can't truly realise he's no longer there.

Hoffrogge added, "Integer was a promising sire and a great sport horse, but much more important was his unique character."

The young stallion has already sired one licensed son, Zauberkonig.
