Dutch young rider Chantal van Lanen has sold her medal winning horse Beaujolais to the Spanish Barbançon family. Daughter Morgan Barbancon will be competed the Dutch warmblood in the FEI Junior Riders classes for Spain.

Chantal van Lanen and her 15-year old Dutch warmblood gelding Beaujolais (by Bright Speed) racked in tons of medals and titles in The Netherlands and in Europe. She became the 2007 Dutch junior riders champion and won team gold at the 2005 and 2006 European Junior Riders Championships and team silver, individual bronze and gold at the 2007 European Junior Riders championships. In 2008 she made the successful transition to young riders level.

Morgan Barbancon is one of Spain's upcoming youth riders. She competed at the 2007 European Pony Championships with Discus and showed pony stallion Don't Forget at international FEI pony level in 2008. The same year, she started competing at junior riders' level with Mr Q. Until this month, the Barbancon kids, Morgan and Alexandra, trained both with Connie Endres and Jan Bemelmans in Germany, but very recently they decided to move all horses and ponies away from Endres to permanently settle for Bemelmans.

"Morgan will compete Bo and I hope that she will have as much fun and win as much titles with him as I have," Van Lanen told Eurodressage.
