2017 CDI Waregem

Dutch pony rider Shanna Baars, British junior rider Rebecca Bell and Dutch young rider Febe van Zwambagt ruled the youth rider divisions at the inaugural 2017 CDI Waregem in Belgium on 14 - 17 September 2017. Van Zwambagt made a clean sweap, while Bell faced competition from Dutch Milou Dees and Baars had Micky Schelstraete on her heels.

2017 Luxembourg Dressage Championships

Pony rider Lynn Thill, junior rider Emma Lou Becca, small tour rider Nicolas Wagner and Grand Prix rider Sascha Schulz became the champions in their age division at the 2017 Luxembourg Dressage Championships which were held during the 2nd Gosset Champagne Dressage Festival at Ecurie Um Sonnebierg in Hünsdorf, Luxembourg, on 14 - 19 September 2017. Riders from Germany and Belgium competed amongst the majority Luxembourg crew that was battling it out for the title.

2017 Norwegian Dressage Championships

Pony rider Carmen Grønvold Johannessen, junior rider Elisabeth Struve Fjornes, young rider Helena Liholt Gulli, Under 25 rider Maria Døhlie Rode and Grand Prix rider Louise Almlund Løkken became the champions at the 2017 Norwegian Dressage Championships held at the Borge Riding Club in Borgenhaugen, Norway on 15 - 17 September 2017.

2017 CDI-W Tryon

The 2017 World Cup qualifier in Tryon, North Carolina, was unable to draw North American top riders to the venue that will host the World Equestrian Games next year. This left plenty of space for some come back kids to shine. The Grand Prix was won by Canadian Alexandra Duncan, who made her come back after a three year break from the CDI ring, while Molly Paris took out the World Cup qualifier in a field of just four riders. Jessica Jo Tate ruled the small tour and won the Grand Prix for Special.

2017 CDI Waregem

Dutch dressage riders of all levels dominated the inaugural CDI Waregem in Belgium which was hosted for the first time at the Sport Vlaanderen centrum Waregem on 15 - 17 September 2017.  A large group of riders from The Netherlands traveled south while only a very small pack of Belgians contested this first 3* CDI on home turf.
