2017 CDN Addington

British pony rider Jessie Kirby, junior rider Maddy Whelan and young rider Robyn Smith stood out at the first big UK dressage fixture of 2017, Addington Manor High Profile Show CDN, at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre in Buckinghamshire on 13-15 January 2017. The 2017 CDN Addington is the first competition for Brits to set out on their 2017 campaigns.

2017 CDN Munster Indoor

German correspondent Barbara Schnell attended the 2017 CDN Munster Indoor competition to cover the most important Grand Prix and youth rider classes of the weekend. New combinations graced the scene and Munster became an exciting barometer for what the 2017 show season in Germany has in store.

British Susan Pape-Draper and Leslie Malone's Hanoverian stallion Don Noblesse won the Grand Prix Special tour which took place co-incidingly with the World Cup qualifier during the first week of competition at the 2017 Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida, on 12 - 15 January 2017.

2017 World Cup Finals

Isabell Werth of Germany, the most decorated dressage rider in Olympic history, will headline the special ‘Dressage Showcase’ at the FEI World Cup™ Finals in Omaha, March 29 - April 2, 2017. “Young Horses to Grand Prix with Olympic Champion Isabell Werth Presented by the Dressage Foundation” will take place on Friday, March 31 and will be Werth’s first-ever exhibition of this type in the U.S.

2017 Preis der Zukunft

New comer junior rider Lia Welschof and seasoned junior gone young rider Semmieke Rothenberger became the winners of the Preis der Zukunt (Prize of the Future), a national youth riders competition held annually at the Munster Indoor national show. Welschof and Rothenberger scored the highest in the individual test to take the title at the 2017 CDN Munster Indoor K+K Cup on Sunday 15 January 2017.
