The 5-year old St. Emilion and the 6-year old Bosse CQ became the winners of the Bundeschampionate qualification classes held at the second BuCha qualifier of the 2024 show season at Reitstall Klövensteen in Schenefeld on Sunday 21 April 2024.
Also the 7-year olds were able to qualify in this event in an S-level classes with horses of mixed ages between 7 and 9.
In the 5-year old division Jacob Schenk piloted the Wahler family's Swedish bred and Oldenburg registered St. Emilion (by Suarez x Dante Weltino) to victory with a total score of 8.48 points. The licensed stallion got 8.3 for walk, 8.6 for trot, 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. Schenk, who took over as head rider at Klosterhof Medingen after Hannah Laser suddenly left, also finished second on the Hanoverian stallion Escaneno (by Escamilo x Veneno) with 8.36 points. The bay stallion got 8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.1 for canter, 8.4 for submission and 8.3 for general impression.
In the 6-year old class Luxembourg Grand Prix rider Matthis Goerens rode Claus Quast's Oldenburg stallion Bosse CQ (by Bonds x Don Frederico) to victory with 8.42 points. The liver chestnut received 8 for walk, 8.6 for trot, 8.5 for canter, submission and general impression. They edged out Hannes Lütt aboard the Oldenburg licensing champion Sky (by Sezuan x Sir Donnerhall). Gut Schönweide's chestnut stallion scored a total of 8.2 with 7.8 for walk, 8.8 for trot, 8.2 for canter, 7.9 for submission and 8.3 for general impression.
