Canadian Olympic dressage rider Evi Strasser is back in Europe for the winter show season with her string of upcoming Grand Prix horses and world class youngsters. Based at Conrad Schumacher and Ellen Bontje's Gut Neuhof near Frankfurt, Germany, Strasser is carefully preparing her "Good Tyme" horses for the European spring shows.

Strasser spent the summer in Canada at her newly revamped home base Good Tyme Stables in St. Adele, Quebec. For 2009 show season, the German born Evi focused mainly on getting her new star Action Tyme established at Grand Prix level.

At the CDI-W Beaulieu International Dressage Classic, held at Beaulieu Farm in St Justine de Newton, QC, August 6-9, 2009, Strasser and Action Tyme (by Aktuell x Aleksander), finished the Grand Prix in second place scoring 65.787%. In the Grand Prix Freestyle, the pair placed fifth with 67.050%. In September they showed at the CDI-W Saugerties in the United States.

Evi's collection of horses is now comfortably settled in at their winter base in Germany. Amongst her collection of horses are the 8-year old rising Grand Prix horse Dancing Tyme (by Don Cardinale x Rubinstein) and the small tour horse Argo Conti Tyme (by Argentinus x Continue).

"I'm very excited because all of them are coming along great. Dancing is almost Grand Prix ready and Argo is developing really well," Strasser said. "They are all wonderful and feel so good."

Dancing Tyme and Argo Conti Tyme are just two talented FEI horses of a bigger group of international calibre horses for sale at Good Tyme Stables in Canada and Germany.

"It has been a very busy year for me with the remodelling of my farm as well as training and competing the horses," Strasser confessed. "I'm excited about 2010 as I can focus more on riding again. I want to get my horses out there in the show ring because I know they have the quality to excel."

Evi plans on competing her rising stars as well as her confirmed Grand prix horse and WEG Canadian team horse Quantum Tyme (by Quattro B x Argentinus) at the 2010 Sunshine Tour in Spain in February and March.

"The Sunshine Tour in is the ideal setting for horses to get acquainted with a competition atmosphere. You have three weeks of competition in a row there in front of the best judges. It's the perfect starter of the season."

Evi has a busy year ahead of her, travelling back and forth between Canada and Germany to help my North American based clients. "I want to wish my friends, clients and competitors a merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and successful 2010."
