Austrian Warmblood

The rising 3-year old Venturini became the champion of the 2024 Austrian Warmblood stallion licensing held in Stadl Paura on 2 - 3 February 2024.

The AWÖ licensing committee, consisting of Peter Zechnr, Claudia Wuggenig, Leopold Erasimus, Walter Werni, and sport expert Heinz-Jörg Waechter, inspected a collection of 17 dressage bred colts and approved 6 dressage bred colts.

The colts were first measured and shown in hand on hard surface, followed by free running in the evening. The results were announced the next day.

Venturini

The black Venturini was proclaimed dressage champion of the licensing. He is by Von Und Zu out of Florentina (by Sir Donnerhall).

Bred by Herbert Stanek and owned by Edda & Wenzel Schmidt of Bartlgut, the stallion was praised for his strong conformation, noble expression and fabulous gaits.

"A ground-covering walk, a terrific trot mechanics and a canter that is also ground-covering and dynamic. An almost perfect overall package," AWÖ described.

Four Premium

Of the six licensed stallions in the dressage lot, four received the title of premium stallion.

In the older stallion category, Auheim's Roi De Coeur OLD (by Roi du Soleil MT x Don Gregory) was accepted. He is bred by Claudine Pengg and competed at Grand Prix level by Chiara Pengg.
