The Kathmann family has decided to sell its equestrian yard in Vechta, Germany. Lutz and Julia Kathmann are finalizing the sale of the property to Arnold Fischer this week.

Two businesses are based at Hof Kathmann: the dressage stable, which is run by Julia and Lutz, and the stallion station, which is managed by Martin Determann. Both firms will continue their operation after the sale.

"Hengsthaltung Ludwig Kathmann, which is owned by Martin Determann on our ground, will continue as normal," Julia Kathmann (née Wentscher) told Eurodressage. "Dressurpferde Ludwig Kathmann will continue on a smaller base, also on this ground."

Arnold Fischer, the founder and CEO of Arnold Fischer Spedition, a transport company in Lohne, Germany, just 10 kilometers from Kathmann, has purchased the property.

Kathmann will be issuing an official press release about the sale by the end of week.
