Austrian Sissy Max-Theurer has acquired the 5-year old Oldenburg mare Sisters Act von Rosencarree. The horse will stay in training with German Olympian Dorothee Schneider.

Bred and previously owned by Silke Pelzer, the bay mare is by Sandro Hit out of Prima Nera (by Royal Diamond x Donnerhall x Pik Bube I).

Sisters Actbegan her competition career under Lena Waldmann in February 2016. By July of that year Anna Sophie Fiebelkorn had taken over the ride. They were reserve champions at the 2016 Oldenburg young horse championships in Rastede and and then went on to win the 2016 Bundeschampionate in Warendorf in the 4-year old mare & gelding class.

As Fiebelkorn decided to expand her training business to Australia, the ride on Sisters Act returned to Waldmann in 2017. Waldmann competed her for three more months from April till June, but it was Dorothee Schneider who qualified the mare for the 2017 World Young Horse Championships in Ermelo. The pair finished fourth at the World Championships.

Sissy Max-Theurer has now acquired Sisters Act from Pelzer, but the horse will not move to Austria to become Victoria Max-Theurer's new ride, just yet.

"The mare is still in our barn and Dorothee stays responsible for the next development steps," Schneider's husband Jobst Krumhoff told Eurodressage.

Sissy's daughter Victoria Max-Theurer is Austria's most successful Grand Prix rider. Victoria's best scoring Grand Prix horse so far was Augustin OLD, who did his last show in June 2015 and has not been heard of since. With Della Cavalleria she went to 2016 Rio Olympics and after a very promsing promising campaign at the 2015 Europeans in Aachen on Blind Date, the liver chestnut mare unfortunately performed below par at the 2017 Europeans in Gothenburg. Victoria combines a dressage career with a professional job working in her family's railway construction company Plasser & Theurer.
