Australian Grand Prix rider Amanda Shoobridge has acquired the 11-year old Oldenburg licensed stallion Rosengold OLD.

Rosengold OLD is by Rohdiamant x Diamond Hit x Ex Libris). He is bred by Silvia Gering and was owned by Heinz Ahlers.

The dark bay got licensed in Vechta in 2008 and did his 30-day stllion performance testing in Schlieckau in December 2009, where he scored 7.77 points (8.37 for dressage and 6.97 for show jumping).

The stallion was only very lightly competed in his career. He was started by Laura Hassler-Brünjes in the A-level tests in 2010 and finished 10th at the 2010 Bundeschampionate in the 4-year old division. In 2014 Yvonne Reiser took over but she only competed him once in 2014, 2015 and 2016. In November 2016 he did his first Intermediaire II test, but in July 2017 Eike Bewerungern dropped him back to M-level to ride him in one class.

Rosengold OLD has sired one licensed son (Riva's Dream) and has 15 daughters registered as broodmare. In Austria, licensed stallion Rondoro Noblesse (by Rosengold x Latour) became the 2016 Stallion Performance Test winner in Stadl Paura.

Amanda Shoobridge runs Revelwood stud in Australia. They also stand OO Seven and Stedinger amongst others.

"He is currently in quarantine and will arrive in October ready for the Australian breeding season," Amanda Shoobridge told Eurodressage.
