British Dressage News
As a result of competitions to date, the British Dressage Pony Selectors announced the long list for the 2017 European Pony Championships in Kaposvar, Hungary, on 25 – 30 July 2017.
Eleven pony riders have been submitted to the long list and will vye for British team selection.
This list indicates pony and rider combinations from which the Team may be selected, but it does not preclude any that are not named but may still obtain scores that would be considered for selection.
The 2017 British FEI Pony Riders long list includes:
- Megan Barratt (15) with Susan Barratt’s Valido’s Starlight (by Valido)
- Clare Hole (15) with Elizabeth Rawlingson’s Rosewater I Claudius (by Caesar 171)
- Holly Kerslake (13) with her own Valhallas Zorro (by Valhallas Lord Matrafal)
- Jessie Kirby (13) with Charlotte Dujardin’s Cruz III (by Caesar 171) and her own Grayswood Orlando (by Grayswood Magic Buccaneer)
- Anya Kolleth (16) with Phoebe Peters’ SL Lucci (by Lukas)
- Isobel Lickley (12) with Robert & Nicola Lickley’s Valido’s Sunshine (by Valido) and Gigolo (by Going East)
- Charlotte McDowall (15) with Samantha Brown’s Le Chiffre (by Caesar 171) and her own BKS Grand Design (by Golden Moonlight)
- Gemma Owen (13) with her own Der Kleine Lord (by Der Feine Lord)
- Sophie Taylor (14) with Becky Moody’s Madam’s Miss Maria (by Wolhoeve’s Silco)
