Norwegian Team Selected for 2016 European Pony Championships

The Norwegian Equestrian Federation has announced the team that will represent Norway at the 2016 European Pony Championships in Vilhelmsborg, Denmark, on 17 - 21 August 2016.

Norway will be sending a team of four combinations to Denmark and has picked three reserve combinations to be ready in case of injury before the Championships in August.

The Norwegian team that competed at the 2016 Nordic Baltic Championships in Ypaja, Finland, will be the same for Vilhelmsborg. The team will be assisted by team trainer Christine Oye.

The Norwegian pony team includes:

  • Kristiane Askim Hillern -  Untouchable
  • Carmen Grønvold Johannessen -  Davidoff
  • Hedda Aam Opheim -  Dancer
  • Sahra Edseth Solbakken  - Valerossi

The reserve riders are:

  • 1. Camilla Sønsteby Holen - Valerio
  • 2. Emilie Næss - Enets Lucas
  • 3. Madelen Olsen -  Reality We
