Holland's number one Grand Prix rider Edward Gal will not be competing at the 2016 CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch on 11 - 13 March 2016, as the rider sustained some injuries falling off a horse on Thursday 10 March 2015.

Gal was supposed to make his come back with top ride Undercover after a seven-month break from competition. Gal and Undercover last competed at the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, where they won team gold but were unfortunately eliminated in the Special after the horse had bit his tongue and bled from the mouth.

Edward prepared Undercover's come back for Den Bosch tomorrow. Unfortunately today he fell off his horse and injured his wrist and back. Gal was walking his newest ride, the 10-year old German Sport Horse Sir Schenkenberg (by Sir Donnerhall x Larome), in the indoor arena when the horse spooked from a tractor and his rider fell off.

He is not fit enough to compete Undercover (4*) nor Voice (CDI-W) in Den Bosch. Gal has been competing his second Grand Prix horse Voice (by De Niro) on the World Cup circuit this 2015-2016 indoor show season.
