Austrian gun mogul Gaston Glock has acquired a new horse for Edward Gal to ride, the 9-year old German Sport Horse gelding Sir Schenkenberg.

The bay gelding is bred by Lothar Schulze and was owned by Maren Frychel. He is by Sir Donnerhall I out of Landjule (by Larome x Donkosak).

The horse began its sports career three years ago in 2012 with Jochen Vetters, who discovered him at the breeder's in 2010. Vetters started with him in the L-level dressage horse tests and moved him up to M-level in March 2013. Two months later they were doing Prix St Georges. He has been consistently competed through the levels from 2012 till 2015.

Vetters introduced Sir Schenkenberg to national Grand Prix level competition in Germany in April 2015. At the CDN Zierow he won the Grand Prix and was second in the Short Grand Prix.

""He’s a horse with incredible potential! Simply perfect for a future star of the dressage arena. I’m very happy," said Edward Gal. "It’s wonderful. He doesn’t have much competition experience yet, but he does have enormous potential."
