Donnertraum to Greta Busacker

The experienced FEI Dressage pony Donnertraum has become the schoolmaster for Greta Busacker, the 13-year old daughter of German Olympic eventing and Grand Prix dressage rider Ingrid Klimke.

Donnertraum is a 15-year old Westfalian bred German Riding pony stallion by Donnerwetter out of Conny (by Nurejew). He is bred by Gestut Erlenbruch. The pony was first started in the riding pony tests by Anne Sophie Jung and Anika Czychon in 2005.

Donnertraum became the FEI dressage pony of German Grand Prix rider Florine Kienbaum. She showed the stallion from 2006 till 2009. The pair sarted at A-level in 2006 and moved to L-level the next year. They won bronze at the 2007 Bundeschampionate for 6-year old dressage ponies.

Kienbaum went on to become a multiple medal winning German youth team rider. She went on to represent Germany at the 2010 European Junior Riders Championships (Good Morning M), 2012, 2013 and 2014 European Young Riders Championships (Don Windsor). She made the transition to Under 25 Grand Prix level in 2015 at CDI Nieuw en St. Joosland (Doktor Schiwago). At the national show in Munster last weekend she showed Doktor Schiwago at senior Grand Prix level.

Greta Busacker on Donnertraum From 2010 till 2012 Donnertraum was only shown regionally by Helena Lobeck and Lisa Braimann. In 2013 the stallion moved to The Netherlands and became the international competition pony of Celine Jeurissen for two years. The pair showed at CDI's in Roosendaal, Moorsele, Vierzon, Kapellen, Nieuw en St. Joosland and Compiegne.

Jeurissen's last show on the palomino was in May 2014 in Compiegne. He has not been competed since then.
