Swedish youth riders, which aim to qualify for the 2015 Swedish pony, junior and young rider championships, are invited to attend a two-day training seminar in Stromsholm on 7 - 8 March 2015.

In order to prepare and professionalize the sport for young riders aged 12 to 21, the Swedish Equestrian Federation is stepping up to the plate with physical and mental training opportunities for the kids.

The seminar in Stromsholm is without ponies and horses and focuses solely on the mental and physical condition training for youth riders with a competitive edge.

The seminar starts on Saturday 7 March 2015 at 13h and begins with a session of mental training by Thomas Enhanger, followed by an information session held by the Swedish team trainers.

On Sunday 8 March 2015 the seminar resumes at 9h with Swedish team show jumping rider Jens Fredricson talking about his philosophy and path to success. Physical therapist Moa Grödinger will conclude the day with a session of physical training and nutrition.
