The Swedish team listed junior and young riders gathered at a special training camp at Lynga Gård begin June in order to prepare themselves for the Nordic Baltic Championships and European JR/YR Championships coming up this summer.

Sixteen Swedish youth riders were invited to this camp and recevied coaching on several levels. The camp started off with team building exercises with Johan Fyrberg, training on horse back with Kerstin André and test-riding with Swedish judge  Bo Jenå.

The Swedish national youth teams are strongly supported by four coaches: Tina Due-Boje is young rider team leader, Marianne Esseen-Söderberg is chef of the juniors  and Bobo Lundberg for the pony riders. Kerstin André functions as supervisor of all U21 teams.

For the Swedish youth riders the action begins this week with the Swedish Young Riders Championships in Stromsholm this weekend.
