The KWPN bred but German licensed stallion Velvet Touch has been sold to the Wespe family of the Training Center Lee AG in Bernhardzell, Switzerland. Velvet Touch was owned by the Lodbergen Dressage Performance Center, of which the Wespes are co-investors.

Velvet Touch was originally named Capitool and is a 2007 born Dutch warmblood stallion by Valdez x Haarlem x Ubis. He as discovered as a foal by 2006 British WEG team rider Wayne Channon, who sold the stallion to Germany when he failed to get licensed with the KWPN society.

Owned by the Lodbergen centre, Velvet Touch was approved for Oldenburg, Westfalia, Rhineland and the South German studbooks. He did his Stallion Performance Test in 2012 in Neustadt/Dosse and scored a dressage mark of 8.34.

So far Velvet Touch has only been very lightly competed. In 2012 Lodbergen's head rider Therese Nilshagen tried to qualify him for the Bundeschampionate. In 2013 he won an M-level test at a local show in Gehrde.

Velvet Touch's most successful offspring to date is the Oldenburg bred mare Kfar Saba who qualified for the 2014 Oldenburg Elite Mare Show in Rastede.
