With less than two months to go until the 2014 Australian Equestrian Grand Final, the qualifying events for dressage are now complete. The start lists for the event is starting to take shape and competition looks set to be fierce with Olympian and WEG representatives across all disciplines. The event will be held as part of Equitana Melbourne from 20-23 November 2014 at the Melbourne showgrounds.
Five significant Australian dressage competitions acted as qualifying events for the 2014 Dressage Grand Final. They were the CDI's in Boneo, Orange, Werribee, Sydney and Brisbane.
The 12 combinations that recorded the highest Grand Prix Freestyle scores from these events automatically secured a start in the Final.
The qualified combinations are:

- Maree Tomkinson - Diamantina
- Rozzie Ryan - GV Bullwinkle
- Chantel Wigan - Ferero
- Brett Parbery - DP Weltmieser
- Katherine Farrell - Luxor 118
- Kerry Mack - Mayfield Pzazz
- Heath Ryan - Utopian Cardinal
- Fiona Selby - Tacita
- Sue Hearn - Remmington
