Four Dressage Riders on 2014 Rabobank Talent Team

Eleven young and talented Dutch equestrian athletes have been selected on the 2014 Rabobank Talent Team. The 2014 team was announced at the CDI-W 's Hertogenbosch last weekend. Four dressage riders have been included on the team this year.

The Rabobank Talent team is constituted by the most successful Dutch U25 riders in the three Olympic disciplines. Submission to the team is an acknowledgment of their talent and achievements. The riders get financial support for training and guidance in their top sport career.

Four dressage riders are included in the 2014 Talent Team. A newcomer is 24-year old Under 25 Grand Prix rider Danielle an Mierlo, who has been a member of the Dutch pony, junior, young riders and U25 team since she started competing seriously at the age of 12. She is currently training with Hans Peter Minderhoud.

The 23-year old Dinja van Liere is now selected on the team for the second year. She has been competing Roumanda at U25 level and won bronze at the World Young Horse Championships in 2012.  She is trained by Leunis van Lieren.

Stephanie Kooijman is The Netherlands' most successful young rider at the moment and a triple medalist at the 2013 European Young Riders Championships. She is trained by Tineke Bartels.

The 21-year old Danielle Houtvast has been on the Talent team for three years now. She has been competing in Florida, U.S.A in the U25 classes this winter and is coached by Leida Collins-Strijk.
