Photo Report: Langehanenberg Bags the Bucks at the 2014 CDI Dortmund

It was smooth sailing to victory for German number one dressage rider Helen Langehanenberg on her star stallion Damon Hill (by Donnerhall x Rubinstein). The petite rider decided to add the 2014 CDI Dortmund to her winter show calendar to compete in the Meggle cup finals and bag the bucks, a 23,250 euro purse, freewheeling to two number one spots.

Langehanenberg scored 83.700% in the Grand Prix and took the Meggle Championship by winning the Special with 85.275%

In the Grand Prix, Helen's biggest competitors was Dutch Danielle Heijkoop who finished second on Siro (by Gribaldi) with 77.280% and went on to win the Kur to Music with 79.650%.

The CDI Dortmund also offered two nationals classes for developing Grand Prix horses. The Intermediaire A was won by Hubertus Schmidt on the licensed stallion Florenciano (by Florencio) with 73.429 % and the Short Grand Prix was dominated by Dorothee Schneider on St. Emilion (by Sandro Hit) with 72.465 %.
