The 2014 World Dressage Masters have lost their Florida station, which was the kick off location for the show circuit the past five years. The Palm Beach Masters used to be organized by Wellington Classic Dressage, but the Global Dressage Festival organization are monopolizing the Florida CDI's in 2014 with exception of the Palm Beach Dressage Derby.

The 2013 Palm Beach World Dressage Masters, which were won by Florida snowbird Tinne Vilhelmson, were held at the Jim Brandon Center in West Palm Beach. However, according to The Chronicle of the Horse the Global Dressage Festival recently acquired several dates from Wellington Classic Dressage and in 2014 all CDIs in the Wellington area will be held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center, except for the Derby which is held at at Equestrian Estates in Loxahatchee.

“Over the summer, we have come to an agreement and are proud to be working together with ESP to integrate our show season in order to make a more cohesive competition schedule,” Noreen Johnson, managing partner at Wellington Classic Dressage, told The Chronicle. “We were all asked to revisit the CDI calendar in Florida in order to reduce the total number of CDI competitions for the 2014 season, and the WDM event did not fit in this year's Global dressage schedule.”

The World Dressage Masters haven't announced their 2014 schedule online yet and their official website has not been updated since Falsterbo at the beginning of July 2013.
