Che de Jeu sold to Australia

The 6-year old Dutch warmblood stallion Che de Jeu, member of the Dutch team at the 2013 World Young Horse Championships in Verden, Germany, has been sold to Australia.

Bred and owned by KWPN Breeder of the Year 2013, Emmy de Jeu, Che de Jeu is by Voice out of a Jazz dam and had been trained and competed by Marieke van der Putten.

Che de Jeu finished 11th in the 2011 Pavo Cup semi finals as a 4-year old and 13th in the 2012 Pavo Cup Finals as a 5-year olds. This year, Che de Jeu was the reserve horse for the Dutch team but was able to replace a drop out last minute and competed at the Championships, where he finished 29th in the preliminary round (6.80) and 17th in the consolation finals (6.82).

The black stallion has been sold to Australian Stephanie McDonald who will train the stallion under the supervision of Brett Parbery.

"I'm very happy but also a bit sad. I love this big puppy with his beautiful eyes," said Emmy de Jeu. "Now I have even more reason to book my Ozzie (sic) ticket."
